The Zeth went 8-6 last week (Broncos-Chargers had no line, and the Zeth forgot to make a Dolphins-Panthers pick), moving him to--ugh--78-78-2 on the season. Let's try and pull away from .500 for once, shall we?
LIONS (+12) over Packers
Same principle in play as usual--don't lay 12 points to a mediocre team no matter how bad its opponent is--plus the Lions are better without Matt Stafford.
Raiders (+14) over COWBOYS
The Raiders may secretly be somewhat better than everyone thinks, now that JaMarcus Russell is out of the way. Bruce Gradkowski looks competent out there by comparison. Bruce Gradkowski! The Zeth is not interested in laying 14 points to a team that barely escaped the Redskins--without Haynesworth involved.
Giants (-7) over BRONCOS
The Zeth expects Eli Manning to toss up a 23-32, 328 yards, 4 TD performance and refuel the ELI MANNING IS A SUPERSTAR! bandwagon for another year or two. The Broncos are going down in flames before your very eyes.
